FOUNDATION
BACKGROUND
Several years ago, a group of
concerned citizens and city
employees began discussing ways
to address the needs and issues
at Doyle Field. They decided to
form a group to help raise
PRIVATE funds to address some of
the major needs at Doyle Field.
This group became the Doyle
Field Foundation, Inc. a
registered 501 (c) 3 non-profit
corporation. It works with the
Doyle Field Commission and other
city departments and
organizations to achieve its
goals. To this end, the
Foundation funded and completed
a Master Plan for Doyle Field.
It lays out a series of
ambitious renovation projects
that will occur in three Phases
and will culminate in the
re-dedication of Doyle Field in
its 100th anniversary year -
2031. This Plan has been
approved by the Doyle Field
Commission and the City Council
as the guiding document for
future improvements to Doyle
Field.
This document refers to Phase I
of the project.
